1994-96 Denis, Meg, Cammy, Jon, Dave plug in and sometimes add drummer Mike Blanche of the Barnabys. The band graduates from Walkman demos in overnight sessions with George Graham at WVIA Scranton/Wilkes Barre/Hazelton. Jon Kelsey (former Sir Dot, Rolling Hayseeds, Rich Kauffman, Manayunk Homeboys, current Tell-Alls) joins bringing steady tempo. Jon Morrill retires and George Shirley (formerly of Secret Kidds, the Stickmen, Rich Kauffman and Manayunk Homeboys) joins on bass. Dave K moves to NYC. Highlights include the Potlach performance series, the Print Club and shows at the Khyber and Doc Watsons with the underheralded Size Queen. Guitar virtuoso and legendary record collector Fred Sherman joins the band. We travel to Buffalo and cross the border to Toronto with Ralph Johnson playing drums. |

| 1996-2002 Full length “Almost Friday Night” with Mike Brenner (Low Road, Marah, John Train, Slo-Mo) producing at Tongue & Groove Studio and in George Manney’s basement. Highlights were RUBA club w/the Rolling Hayseeds, Lionfish Café (RIP) w/Ralph Johnson, opening for the Mekons & the Old 97’s (& hearing their “Victoria” at soundcheck). And being pulled over by over-zealous Bethlehem PA police due to trying to eat cheetos while driving after playing at the Funhouse with the Original Sins. |

Topher Horner (former Low Road, Go To Blazes, Big Mess Orchestra and currently Tell-Alls) signs to produce as we prepare to record “Cold Cereal & Juice” and later joins the band, playing electric guitar and viola. CC & J is recorded at Longview Studios (RIP) with Steven Wellner engineering mostly late at night after the little KFB children have been put in their little beds, and released by Groovedisques. |
